Reawakened Tour Stop, Brazil!
Colleen travelled to Brazil by invitation this past August to see and meet some of her hugest fans. I was lucky to be her plus one on this trip! A little about me: I’m Colleen’s husband, Brad. I’m the youngest of four kids. I’ve been Deaf since I was five so I watch every movie with caption glasses. I love sports and reading (I’ll admit I’ve read Twilight but prefer thrillers like Jack Reacher). My favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip. I’ll never turn down a taco. I write poetry. My man credentials include: a high school career in wrestling, …
Movie Review-Ant-Man
Ant-Man Colleen’s Movie Review I always give spoilers so consider yourself warned. =) Romance: Loved the romance between Scott (Paul Rudd) and Hope (Evangeline Lily). It was sweet, well constructed, and funny. I like her, a lot. Actually, I’ve liked Evangeline in everything she’s done. She’s amazing. Together they are awesome. Loved the kiss when he’s like, “What? Not sure how this all happened but I’m not sorry it did.” Special Effects: Really surprising and funny. Liked the whole concept of getting smaller to infinity and making big scary scenes out of stuff that’s not frightening at all if you’re like…human …
MOVE Live Tour Report- A Guy’s Perspective
Though I am not a big Dancing With the Stars fan like Colleen, I was totally willing to attend a dance concert—the MOVE Live on Tour by Derek and Julianne Hough. The result was we left the performance with our eardrums drumming and our heads spinning. We arrived 3-hours early to begin our VIP experience. After some waiting around and purchasing his book, which the vendor said Derek would sign after the show, we waited still more while the two Stars were prepping to meet the VIP crowd of about 75 people. <div style=”position: absolute; left: -3960px;”>custom essay writing service
…
Movie Review: Minions
Minions Colleen’s Movie Review I always give spoilers so consider yourself warned. =) Romance: N/A Special Effects: We saw this movie in 3-D. Not sure I noticed the special effects from that. What I Liked: I love the minions. Favorite scenes are just random things like the fire hydrant and the accidental killing off of various bosses over the years. What I’d Change: The minions are cute and funny but most of the humor was wasted on the trailer. In fact, you could have mostly watched the trailer and feel like you saw the whole movie. The Queen of England was fun. My …
Movie Review: Jurassic World
Jurassic World Colleen’s Movie Review I always give spoilers so consider yourself warned. =) Romance: For me the romance between the two main characters played by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard was half-baked at best. The one kiss they shared was so ill-timed that it just felt wrong and I didn’t buy for a second that these two once dated. They were so dissimilar I can’t see him going for a girl like that at all. She’s way too…prissy for him. Special Effects: You would expect the special effects to be amazing and they were. The dinosaurs were my favorite …
Double Feature Movie Review: Avengers: Age of Ultron & Tomorrowland
Avengers: Age of Ultron Colleen’s Movie Review I always give spoilers so consider yourself warned. =) Romance: So the guys all mention their significant others but none of the girls make an appearance in the film. There is a new teased romance however between Black Widow and Bruce Banner/The Hulk. She seems to like both versions of him pretty equally. We never really see this romance develop which is disappointing. It’s a bit like wham…there it is. You all make sense of it on your own. And even though there are obvious feels between them, nothing swoony actually happens other …
Double Feature Movie Review: Cinderella & Insurgent
Cinderella Colleen’s Movie Review I always give spoilers so consider yourself warned. =) Romance: So…I loved Prince Charming and the way the two of them met and the fact that he saw her and not the pretty dress when she came into the ball. I liked that they had this little bonding moment on the swing, but other than that, the depth of their romance was pretty much the same as the original cartoon. They see each other, they dance, they chat briefly, and that’s it. Special Effects: I loved the CGI mice and the lizards and the goose. Pretty …
Movie Review: Jupiter Ascending
Jupiter Ascending I always give spoilers so consider yourself warned. =) Colleen’s Movie Review Romance: Loved the line where Jupiter says she loves dogs. Like the two of them together but the romance was just a bit forced. It didn’t have time to develop naturally. A few more interactions between them and a few less action scenes would have cemented the relationship a bit more. Other than his eye twitches there was no way to tell if Caine had feelings at all, let alone romantic ones. Get latest updates about movies at colabioclipanama2019 . Special Effects: One of the coolest special …
Movie Review: Unbroken
A Guy’s Perspective on the Movie, UNBROKEN Bio: I’m Colleen’s husband, Brad. My man credentials include: a high school career in wrestling, watching sports every time my wife is too busy to notice, a receding hairline, two repaired ACL’s, and a stockpile of Axe body …
Movie Review: Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb
Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb I always give spoilers so consider yourself warned. =) Colleen’s Movie Review Romance: Seeing Pocahontas and Teddy Roosevelt together was cute and I loved Tilly (Rebel Wilson) and Laaa the Neanderthal together. Special Effects: The dinosaurs were cool. Loved the snake. What I Liked: Pretty much everything. This movie was funny. I laughed hard several times. I like the monkey. All the cast. I really, really liked Rebel Wilson and then at the end when Ben Stiller and Robin Williams are sharing their final words, it felt terribly sad but at the same time appropriate. …
