“I took hold of that scourge -filled ship and crushed it between my limbs, hurtling it into the second sun, the red one that gave me strength. But I was too late." Terraformer
An ERP system can streamline your entire organization and put your data all in one place. While the ERP can be a large component in the overall workflow of your business, the ERP can be a distraction to your primary business.
Whether your ERP is software-based or data-based, the following tips and tricks can make your ERP system perform better and save time:
Plan your ERP system
As you can see, you must plan for the future of your ERP system, you need to start considering the Oracle NetSuite ERP. In most cases, you’ll have to plan for these costs to get started:
A Software-Based ERP: You’ll need a new system from the get-go. Although an application like SAP is relatively simple to implement, an ERP system can take a considerable amount of resources to set up.

A Data-Based ERP: If you have existing software to handle your data (e.g., Oracle), then a database-based ERP system is a lot more straightforward. However, if you don’t have the IT resources, then a data-based ERP system is often not a very viable option. Step 3: Analyze the Product (Optional) The point of Step 2 is to get your system working, and there are many different ways to do this. One of the easiest ways to do this is to create a system that allows you to test out the ERP features and determine what capabilities it can handle. You can also just dive in and build it from the ground up, in which case you will probably do this before you even start your final product. In my case, I built a very rudimentary product by leveraging existing data and a few online resources. By the end of Step 2, you will probably have a very detailed data system for evaluating the product. What About the Implementation? There are many different ways to implement your ERP system, and it depends on whether you are starting from scratch or starting with some pre-existing code. In general, my advice would be to follow the process outlined in step 1, but in a step-by-step fashion. With my initial project, I used several pieces of existing code. In the case of the data integration, I did most of the work inside the customer portal, so I used an already implemented backend that had some very useful functionality. I also used a very basic CRM/data layer.
